This is a game that is ideal for getting children ages 7 and up to help them become familiar with these or to demonstrate their knowledge of Quranic verses, Good Value definitions, vocabulary words, etc., by physically interacting with them. This is tactile learning, hands-on learning which is found to be a very effective method used by teachers. Also, it is a way to memorize Allah's words and learn them together in a group. Teams will compete for the best score as an audience of club members looks on.

CHARACTER BUILDING DRAMA SKITS

Club members write scripts and act out on camera or voice-only skits that demonstrate how an ayah of the Quran can be quoted in a real-life scenario to bring guidance to their lives and the people around them. We will also have them create skits based on the stories in the character-building book Dictionary of Good Values. Below you can see some examples of videos we created with some students of Good Tree Academy.

Drama Skits

This card game is fun and helps members discuss, reflect, and demonstrate their understanding of selected Quranic verses and short Surahs. The rules of the game are to be the first one without any cards in your hand or score the most points if you are playing multiple rounds. Players take turns reading their cards (the English meaning or Quranic verses), stating the message or the card, subject, and relating it to other cards in their hand or on the discard pile. This is a fun new way to get our kids connected to Allah's word.
